Profile
Everything from the back-lit marble bar to the bronze tables reeks of luxury (not to mention of Trump). And then, naturally, there's the World Cocktail, formerly known as the World's Most Expensive Cocktail. At $50, it's a combination of Remy XO, Pineau des Charentes, Veuve Clicquot, and various other ingredients mixed at your table on a spotless silver tray—and crowned with a slick pool of 23-karat liquid gold. Take a deep sip while waiting in vain for a glimpse of Tower resident Derek Jeter.

What a joke. This bar signature drink is "The World Cocktail" which is made with, in part, Remy Martin XO cognac and 24 karat gold." We went there around 9 p.m. and the place was empty. I ordered the "World Cocktail" and the waiter said "ok" and left for several minutes, only to come back and inform me that they were "out of some of the ingredients." Well I had to question what he was out of since this is the signature drink, and he informed me that they were "out of gold" and also "out of Hennessey" which is odd because the drink is advertised as being made with Remy. I ordered something else and it was ok, and the atmosphere was ok, but come on here...did they fall for one of the "We Pay Cash For Your Gold" ads that are popping up everywhere????
It was very classy place...

It was for my boyfriends birthday, he had no clue where we were going, and he and I are not fans of crowds and loud music. This place was perfect!! It was classy and the atmosphere was ideal. The drinks were tasty and my boyfriend especially enjoyed "The Worlds expensive drink". The bartender was great; I do not have a single complaint. It was a wonderful evening and I would defiantly go back.
