Slipping into the dimly-lit, brick-walled YN Bar offers a pleasant change of pace from the Soho bustle. The noticeably narrow space ensures you’ll probably meet at least one new face, and the after-work crowd of laid-back oenophiles is eager to chat, if only to recommend a favorite wine. The staff pours generously from a list that offers an ever-changing variety of international labels like New Zealand’s Over the Edge Pinot Noir and Alpha Zeta Corvina from Italy. Rotating crostini—like one with walnut pesto and sundried tomato, or another with herbed mushrooms and gruyere cheese—and other small bites complement the menu of cheese, charcuterie and larger dinner plates, while daily brunch and discounted specialty cocktail happy hours add to the bar’s neighborhood-y vibe.Brunch
