While the approach to Zaaman feels dreary, if you enter the Middle Eastern bar on the weekend you'll be walking into a lounge and dance party. Weeknights are a different story, with locals quietly watching the game, fist-deep in hummus and hookah. A friendly wait staff that knows when to top off your drink and refill your coals makes up for the shaking of the overhead JMZ every ten minutes-- the patio out back with the retractable roof doesn't hurt either. — Rachel Stein
