The fast-talking Upper East Side hair guru is in the speed dial of every PYT in 10021, and he makes house calls. He’s happy to inspect a dress and make suggestions to flatter the style. Just know that if you want Podlucky for big galas like the Costume Institute party (in May) or New Yorkers for Children (in September), you’d best consider calling now.

This hair and makeup artist is all about natural, simple looks, often with low side parts, à la Audrey Hepburn or Ava Gardner. "I don't like trendy, I don't like straightening irons, and I don't like prom-ish," he explains. Clients-many of whom are regulars on the socialite circuit-prefer to visit his private two-chair "salon." Trials-which Podlucky considers "part of the screening process" to decide whether you share the same vision are available.
