Affinia’s spa philosophy is all about comfort: Every visit begins with a glass of restorative Elixr tonic (made from Chinese herbs, roots, and fruit and flower extracts), followed by a stimulating lavender or sage foot soak with hot stones. With just four treatment rooms, the personable hotel spa offers massages, facials, and reflexology, as well as personal care procedures like brow tinting, waxing, and makeup application. Clients can embellish their treatments with à la carte add-ons—like the 15-minute “Spirit Enhancer” hand, foot, or scalp massage—and are encouraged to bring their own products for use during services if that makes them more comfortable. Affinia is one of only a few local places licensed to carry the full line of holistic Dr. Hauschka products, and uses them in traditional Hauschka facials and body wrap treatments; the spa also uses and sells Dermalogica products. Catering equally to female and male clientele, Affinia offers an adjacent fitness facility to both hotel and non-hotel spa guests. There's also a steam room and a Vichy shower wet room. Seasonal spa services include Chocolate Fantasy massages and facials, which use pure chocolate and chocolate essential oils, and the Strawberry-Almond Scrub, a rub-down with fresh crushed fruit.
Bridal PackageThis tiny midtown gem will arrange for brides and their attendants to have massages in the hotel’s fantastic suites. They also offer several great bachelorette-party packages.
