Just down the street from Penn Station’s Eighth Avenue entrance, this storefront salon bustles with fashion-district types needing a quick blowout and or nail-chipped New Yorker Hotel guests in need of repair. The biggest draw, however, is a large selection of beauty products: Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Kerastase, Voluspa, and Joey New York among them. On the main floor, loud pop music, shiny marble floors, and bright lights set the energetic mood for cuts, coloring, and blowouts. Upstairs, mani-pedi stations find the efficient staff executing everything from tips to Caribbean Therapy manicures. Belazza’s lower level has three private rooms for waxing, threading, and Swedish massage.
