Profile

Marcia Kilgore sells the hottest products in her trend-setting day spas. This day spa is as popular as ever with the young and trendy, who love the triple-oxygen facial and carrot-and-sesame body buff. Book a few months ahead.

Men's Grooming

The fairly girly Bliss now offers two treatments designed just for men: an Homme Improvement version of the famous triple-oxygen facial, and a Manly-Cure to soften cuticles. The Soho branch’s locker room includes amenities like heated containers for shaving cream and buckets of beer.

Bridal
This peppy day spa is as popular as ever, doling out treatments like the triple-oxygen facial ($160) and carrot-and-sesame body buff ($165). Brides concerned with fine lines and wrinkles can try Bliss’s “The Youth as We Know It” facial ($185).

This was an almost surreally bad pedicure! We were seated in hard back, wobbly chairs with our feet in hard, rectangular buckets! Uncomfortably, half of the time, my pedicurist had to put my feet in her lap! THere was no where else for them to go. To dry our nails, our buckets were lined with what looked like garbage bags and we sat, uncomfortably, like that, for a half hour while they dried. During her pedicure, my friend's pedicurist was constantly trying to "sell her up" to more expensive treatments like a used car salesman. RELAXING IT WAS NOT!!! EXPENSIVE IT WAS!! I called and left a message for the manager complaining about the service, but no one ever called me back. CLASSY!

All I can say is STAY AWAY and spend your money elsewhere.

BLISS SPA is the worst place that we ever been to. The operators were LOUSY the prices were HIGH and the services SUCKED. Sorry do not WASTE your time in the LOW END spa that is trying to PROJECT a high end image. And by the way, they use low end ingredients in their products and they charge a very high price for them. BLISS WORLD should get out of the spa business and get in the GARBAGE business, they already have the product. All I can say is STAY AWAY and spend your money elsewhere.
