Opened in January 2006, Dermacare Brooklyn Heights is the first New York location of a national medi-spa franchise based in Arizona. Owned and operated by board-certified ob-gyns Oyenike Kilanko and Ngozi Keshinro, the tidy space specializes in non-surgical procedures with minimal downtime, including injectables, laser hair removal, acne light treatment, and medical-grade facials suitable for all skin types using Dermacare’s own product line. With four treatment rooms and a simple waiting area, the center prides itself on brisk, efficient services appropriate for lunchbreak appointments; to conceal any post-treatment redness, an esthetician will gladly apply some Jane Iredale mineral makeup before you leave, so no one at the office will be the wiser. Though Dermacare may not be as discreet as a high-end Upper East Side dermatologist’s office, Dr. Keshinro assures that her experience serving the women’s health arena helps make her clients’ visits as pleasant as possible. The doctors also offer complimentary consultations for first-timers, to assess what procedures may be right for you.
