Stylist Dvir Haveshush opened his namesake salon in March 2006, seven years after migrating to New York from his hometown of Tel Aviv. The salon represents a culmination of his international experience: training in Israel, practicing in South Africa, and styling at various Manhattan salons before setting out on his own. The cozy space houses three styling stations, two washing stations, an espresso machine, and a small retail area stocked with products from KMS California, Moroccan Oil, It's A 10, and Kenra. Since there is no back room, the team prepares the dye directly in front of clients, using Redken and Schwarzkopf products for color and L'Oréal for highlights. Dvir's reputation for meticulous highlights and wedding hair draws clients from as far as Connecticut and the outer boroughs. Dvir’s dog, Mac, usually sporting purple or pink highlights, keeps clients company in the small waiting area.
