State-of-the-art equipment and athletic enthusiasm are what you’ll find at this TRX and private training studio on the Upper East Side. Opened by personal trainer Ed Cashin and business partner Catherine Goodwin in 2012, the studio eschews the cliquey atmosphere found at other private spots, focusing instead on hard work and sportsmanship. Group classes include TRX and total body conditioning, both of which incorporate kettle bells, medicine balls, and jump ropes, and are taught by instructors with a number of fitness-focused degrees and accolades under their belts. Fully equipped with TRX bands, cardio equipment, and other props used for personal-training sessions, the two-floor, 4,800-square-foot space is airy and modern, with chic, albeit cozy, locker rooms for showering and changing.
