Brooklyn Heights mother Linsey Snyder Wachalter got her start as a production assistant at NBC where she became chummy with the stylists, who eventually let her assist with hair and makeup for television commercial parodies on Saturday Night Live. Next came her makeup brand Face Time Cosmetics, which she launched from her Upper East Side bedroom and which eventually evolved into Face Time Beauty Concierge. Located in the studio of her pristine Brooklyn Heights brownstone, Snyder Wachalter and her team of twelve offer personalized hair and makeup services for all manner of events. The bright and airy consulting space features an inviting reception area; a plush sofa and large-screen TV are certain to please accompanying children or husbands. Alongside doing hair and makeup, Face Time offers a concierge service: Snyder Wachalter is the woman to call if you are new in town, and want advice about where to go for a wax or a manicure. In the warmer months, clients can relax in the private courtyard with a mimosa. Group bookings and parties are also offered.
