Buoyed by the success of their original Seoul salon, the Korean owners of this sleek beauty emporium brought their 24/7/365 concept to Manhattan in 2008. A boon for both time-strapped women tired of cramming their blowouts into extended lunch breaks and night owls in need of a midnight pre-club Brazilian, this multi-station spot offers a full pleather-bound menu of services 24 hours a day. The offerings include mani-pedis in oversize pedicure thrones, waxing, massages, facials, cuts, coloring, makeup application, and even eyelash extensions. Though conventional daytime hours are still the busiest, deals are offered for those who visit between 6 a.m. and noon, and a $5 surcharge is tacked onto appointments after 10 p.m. Despite the atypical hours, the salon’s vibe is fairly serene: Korean ballads drift from the speakers; black Mac laptops are available for free web surfing; the décor is done up in stone, wood, and copper; and the staff is quick to proffer warm towels and a glass of wine, Champagne, or fruit tea. To help keep any late-night freaks at bay, the doors are kept locked after 10 p.m., and the unruly or obviously boozy may be politely, but firmly, denied entry.
