Sisters Deborah and Claudia Caraballoso were introduced to the bridal business at a young age from their wedding-planner mother. The siblings joined forces in college, giving dorm-room makeovers, and later launched a business out of their Upper West Side apartment. They opened this full-service salon in 2008, focusing on special-occasion hair and makeup, as well as offering coloring, edgy asymmetrical cuts, and massage. The Caraballosos specialize in hair transformations using extensions that can be fused, glued, or sewn into strands to last for weeks. Clients seeking to straighten curly tresses long-term can opt for Thermal Reconditioning, a Japanese process, or the Brazilian keratin technique.
