At this beauty mecca on the Grand Concourse level of the Plaza Hotel, shopping for products won't result in being prodded and overspritzed. The spacious shop consists of eight counters arranged with Tocca candles, M Lab skin products, Lisa Hoffman travel skin kits, handmade hair accessories, Italian shave creams, exclusive fragrances, and the Warren-Tricomi house line of hair products (the Warren-Tricomi Salon is located upstairs on the second floor). Service is provided by licensed aestheticians who recommend, in detail, the best skin-care products and makeup for your skin type. The Plaza Beauty by Warren-Tricomi is by far a gem that I stumbled upon recently. The newly renovated and decadent Plaza Hotel hosts a few key chic, one-of-a-kind shops on the lower level that I felt proud to discover. The Plaza Beauty was by far the best beauty boutique I have shopped in. The atmosphere is intimate, the staff is professional and friendly and the mix of products makes you feel like you are getting the most exclusive up-to-date brands and products with the most modern technologies. They even have the eyebrow gurus from the Warren-Tricomi salon on the 2nd level come and do eyebrow shapings! I purchased a gift certificate for my mom and was delighted with the packaging and presentation. Can't wait to return with my girfriends for some makeovers!
