Six manicure and six pedicure stations occupy the bright, streamlined space, where cream-colored walls are offset by sepia-toned photography and cushy brown-satin banquettes. Upbeat acoustic music plays while morning cappuccinos and afternoon glasses of Champagne are ferried to the clientele of neighborhood office execs and those getting pampered for special events. Though a full menu of nail treatments is offered, it’s the signature 45-minute manicure ($65) and hour-long pedicure ($95) that steal the show: Both include a warm tea soak, an aromatic herbal exfoliation, and a paraffin mask, along with standard skin, nail, and cuticle care. The upscale price tag reflects the posh atmosphere and added perks, like a lavender-scented neck pillow and a take-home bottle of Cornelia’s own nail lacquer, chosen from dozens of shades. — Sarah Gold
