Hair salons are meant to leave you feeling happy with your hair. This place doesn't quite "cut" it.

Go if you like your hair as is and have $200 to burn...

And if you like to wait for an hour just to get your hair washed and even then you're kept waiting for no apparent reason while nonchalant staff chat and sit lazily around or step out for a smoke and look like they're at home lounging on the weekend, rather than at a professional salon where you're not paying $25 to get your haircut but $200. I don't mind a wait if my hair's going to look fabulous at the end of it....I do mind reading a People magazine cover to cover and a Johnny Depp interview only to leave with hair that looked exactly like when I walked in! My boyfriend asked me if I missed my appointment!! Gross! I passed a Jean Louis David on the way home....I think they must get a lot of business from irate customers tired of waiting for Godot at Simadi! Two words....never again.
