I have been a student at this comfortable, low-key East Village studio for several years. As a result, I have increased stability and strength, greater body awareness and mobility, decreased back pain and improved breathing habits. The instructors are knowledgeable and personable, and they have the skill of teaching with endless patience while pushing students to achieve their personal best. They have transformed this formerly reluctant exerciser into a devotee.
I have done a lot of Pilates and Yoga and I love this place. The vibe is down-to-earth and peaceful, but I still get a great workout, whether in a private session or a mat class. The rates are very reasonable and I enjoy the other students, something you can't say in every Manhattan gym or Pilates studio.
