Located in a part of Chinatown with more acupressure charts than Peking ducks, Top Beauty Skin Care Center isn’t exactly a standout. (It’s hard to stand out when you’re at the back of a jewelry store.) But just beyond the jade bracelets, a back door leads to a dim communal room with three spa tables topped by homespun Chinese blankets. Facials are performed here, though you should know that Mimi, the aesthetician in charge, barely speaks English.
