Profile
Clients will feel like Alice going down the rabbit hole to Wonderland as they descend the red-carpeted stairs to Remède Spa, tucked below street level inside the tony St. Regis Hotel. A few twists and turns later, guests are ushered into the intimate space (just four treatment rooms) and offered chilled champagne and Jacques Torres truffles to jumpstart an experience of guiltless indulgence. Remède’s unique menu gives clients permission to be creative with their treatments since there are no additional fees, or “add-ons;” guests pay a standard price for the amount of time they want—30, 60, or 90 minutes—and can do as much as they desire within that window. An hour-long facial might include deep cleansing, extractions, and a peel or microdermabrasion, while a one-hour massage could be made up of thirty minutes of Swedish all over, then thirty minutes of Shiatsu concentrating on the upper back. It’s all about whatever your skin or body craves that day—that hour. The extensive line of Remède anti-aging products (made famous by the Bliss catalogue) is designed to produce pleasing results at affordable price points. Body treatments, bronzing, and waxing are also available.
