This cozy holistic wellness center for women occupies a surprisingly tranquil niche just off Madison Avenue. Decorated in warm, earthy tones, gossamer curtains, and rattan furniture, the narrow entrance and waiting area give way to a warren of treatment rooms. Founded by former West Coast family practitioner Dr. Jamé Heskett, the center caters to a fiercely loyal clientele of women in pursuit of inner health and outer beauty by way of non-invasive, anti-aging regimens, and Heskett’s vivacious good looks are a testament to the state-of-the-art offerings. Wellpath is best known for body-contouring treatments like Endermologie, performed by an FDA-approved handheld roller-and-suction machine that devours cellulite; carboxytherapy, which literally kills fat cells with tiny injections of carbon dioxide (eat your heart out global warming); and mesotherapy, which uses injections of minerals and vitamins to stimulate circulation, reduce cellulite, and improve skin elasticity. In addition to IPL, chemical peels, and laser vein removal, Heskett offers general medical and pregnancy consultations. A private Pilates studio allows for one-on-one sessions with a certified instructor, and a therapist is on call for various methods of massage, including prenatal. Anti-aging facials use Epicuren products. The spa sells Jane Iredale mineral-based makeup, the all-natural Alchimie Forever skincare line, the High Potency line by N.V. Perricone, M.D., and the Oprah-endorsed TNS Recovery System by SkinMedica.
CoursesThe Wellpath Institute offers courses for certification in carboxytherapy and mesotherapy.
