Every Mon, 10pm |
This weekly series of horror flicks has an open-minded view of the genre, which means that the schedule isn't limited to Wes Craven's early-nineties offering The People Under the Stairs and the cheesy, low-budget slasher My Bloody Valentine. Some nights, you'll also see fantasy movies like Big Trouble in Little China or Labyrinth (which isn't a scary movie at all). Admission is free if you buy a drink, and with specials like $3 PBR pints, you'll always have plenty of liquid courage to face any onscreen atrocities.
10/29 - Halloween PartyMetropol celebrates with a special double feature: Johnny Depp stars in Tim Burton's chilly take on the Ichabod Crane tale, Sleepy Hollow; zombie godfather George A. Romero brings five Stephen King ghost stories alive with a campy gusto in Creepshow.
