You will learn the fundamentals of food and wine pairing as well as discover how to taste, describe, and appraise the different characteristics of wines. In this class you will taste wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir along with an introduction to some of the other major grape varieties in the world. In addition to our overview “Wine 101: A Sensory Guide” class, we introduce rotating themes each week such as “Wine 101: Wines of the Rhone Empire”, “Wine 101: Germany,” “Wine 101: Bad Ass Reds,” “Wine 101: Old World vs. New World,” and more.
