Profile
Finding a good, affordable Downtown hotel can be tricky. Enter the Cosmopolitan, a no-frills hotel in Tribeca that’s a best bet for those in search of a quiet place to crash without breaking the bank. The rooms won't wow you with their decor, nor are they spacious, but most of the twenty-somethings who stay here seem happy just to have found an affordable place to sleep without having to crash on their buddy’s musty futon. The basics, like hair dryers and satellite television, are covered, but don’t expect much else. Hey, what do you want for $175 a night?
ProsA safe, clean and cheap hotel in a prime location.
Cons
Handicapped guests may have difficulty getting in and out, as the building only has one small elevator and narrow halls.
