Profile

This venue is closed.

It’s easy to miss the Carnegie Hotel. Aside from being a small, boutique hotel in Midtown, the building itself is located on a fairly desolate street between a dumpster and a parking lot. But those who actually make it inside will be rewarded with a surprisingly large, elegantly furnished lobby full of polished gold and bright chandeliers. Each of the 20 guest rooms features standard amenities like full kitchenettes that can be stocked at the large supermarket nearby, to dial-up Internet access and an in-room safe. Only a few blocks from Columbus Circle and Central Park, the hotel offers easy access to several subway lines.

Extra

Pros
The small staff at the Carnegie offers friendly and personable service.

Cons
Despite the touristy neighborhood, the Carnegie’s block is not so glamorous.
