The most unassuming of the city's W outposts, The Tuscany sits in the middle of a tree-lined block on the northern edge of Murray Hill—a stone's throw from another W property, The Court. The sexy, candle-lit lobby features purple leather couches with leopard-print pillows, and is set up for games of checkers or tic-tac-toe. The comfy guest rooms come equipped with down comforter-covered beds, terry cloth robes and Aveda bath products. Though it may be the smallest of the New York Ws, The Tuscany makes a cool and playful place to stay.
ProsQuietly hidden on a lovely residential block, the baby W offers an escape from much of the loud city noise.
Cons
No real luxuries to call its own except for the gym.
