Experimental auteur and Tony winner Julie Taymor’s latest experiment is a musical romance set in Greenwich Village during the Vietnam War, with a soundtrack composed of Beatles songs. Evan Rachel Wood stars as a wide-eyed girl from the suburbs who falls in love with a soldier while exploring the city’s hippie scene.
