Performance artist and musician DJ Spooky has reworked D. W. Griffith’s epic The Birth of a Nation, one of the most revered and reviled films ever made, nearly 100 years after its release. Originally commissioned as a live multimedia performance, this theatrical version screens at MoMA through June 28.
