A paean to a small community of hunters in Siberia.
Back to nature: Herzog took Russian director Vasyukov’s four-hour documentary and cut it down to 90 minutes, adding his own philosophically inflected narration. The result is a typically Herzogian rumination on life lived at the extremes, but with gorgeous footage that seems less characteristic of his work and more free-floating and immersive.
