This stylized Danish thriller about a crime-scene photographer who poses as the lost fiancé of a mysterious and beautiful woman he meets in a car crash is the kind of over-the-top noirish melodrama at which American cinema used to excel. Turns out the Scandinavians are pretty good at it too; director Ole Bornedal's camera expertly swoops and glides while his devious plot twists and turns. — Miranda Siegel
