Wenders’s 3-D portrait of influential choreographer Pina Bausch is more than an ode to his recently deceased friend, as danced through the members of her company: It’s a celebration of expression and form, and the dance sequences are so glorious and enrapturing that you’ll be convinced this was the real reason that 3-D was invented.
