Pedersen’s doc follows an idealistic young woman, a member of a youth organization designed to support the Russian leader’s policies, as she becomes gradually disillusioned with the direction the country is taking. A fascinating look at the way the state uses subtle and not-so-subtle means of coercion to remain all-powerful.
