Review
Aaron Katz’s slight, zero-budget feature about an out-of-town girl who gets lost in Brooklyn and meets a young dude with whom she spends an aimless couple of days is a mixed though ultimately worthy bag. At its best, the film is a quietly aestheticized look at the wispy textures of urban life: Katz has a great eye, and the city has never seemed so empty, silent, or haunted. At its worst, the film spends too much time with some rather uninteresting characters. The couple does grow on you in the end, and maybe that’s the point.
