It ain’t Lincoln. Dear God, it ain’t Lincoln. This weird, shoestring biopic of Abraham Lincoln as seen through the eyes of a confidant and bodyguard has ambition—it uses self-consciously artificial effects to place Lincoln in period settings—but it’s also deathly dull, didactic, and poorly acted.
