Review

Ryan O’Nan. Though O’Nan’s stirring performance almost makes up for the rough patches in this heavy-handed drama about an Iraq vet returning to a tough life in West Texas, it’s too clichéd and awkward, especially for a genre that includes strong recent efforts like Taking Chance and The Messenger.
