Many Gen-Xers have fond memories of this 1985 adventure about a group of kids who go off to search for buried treasure in an attempt to save their homes from foreclosure. But nostalgia may be the only reason to visit this overlong, inchoate, insipid film—a rare low point for producer Steven Spielberg during his eighties heyday.
