Review
Based on an actual case study, this sentimental drama tells the story of a straitlaced father and his estranged former hippie son—afflicted with a brain tumor that prevents him from forming new memories—who are able to connect with each other through music, like Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. An interesting premise, but it’s painted in broad strokes and often feels strangely sanitized.
