Review

Supporting actor extraordinaire Richard Jenkins (Six Feet Under) finally gets a chance to display his chops as an unfulfilled, aging professor in this clash-of-cultures drama from writer-director Tom McCarthy (The Station Agent). The story, at its heart a sad immigration tale, is a bit heavy-handed, but the superb acting by all the leads casts a strong spell.
