Profile

The extraordinary Wordless Music Series comes to Lincoln Center Out of Doors, with an assorted lineup of minimalist music spanning eight centuries of dour, misfit composers. The highlight will be the world premiere of Rhys Chatham's A Crimson Grail for 200 Electric Guitars (Outdoor Version), specially tailored to the acoustic particularities of Damrosch Park. An equally rare performance of Manuel Göttsching's seminal E2-E4 showcases the roots of electronic music, accompanied by visual psychedelia from multimedia artist Joshua White.
