Danceheads who think of Mr. Scruff as an eccentric in the Ninja Tune mold might find this appearance at François K’s Deep Space party surprising. François, the master of deep house (he’s shaped NYC club culture since the seventies, playing at the Loft and Paradise Garage and helping to found Body & Soul) and Mr. Scruff (known for goofy sea-life-themed jazz-tronica) share a love of all things soulful that will no doubt result in an amazing night.
