Profile
Co-founders Nasty Canasta, Jonny Porkpie, and Veronika Sweet like to interject a little stand-up between the campy, elaborately costumed acts. Which means that as much time is spent listening to an emcee’s wry monologue or an impassioned rant as it is watching bump-and-grind performances by the likes of Anita Cookie, Jo Boobs, and Little Brooklyn. As to the show’s main attractions, it’s not unheard of to witness a Jesus and Mary striptease or to hear a heartfelt letter from a Catholic mother (with the reader wearing little but pasties). Though this S&N takes place every Sunday, nothing but the flesh is sacred.
