2 ounces fig-and-pear-infused bourbon (recipe follows)
1 ounce. Campari,
1 ounce sweet vermouth.
Slice of orange
In a mixing glass, combine fig-and-pear-infused bourbon (recipe follows), Campari, and sweet vermouth. Stir for 90 seconds and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a slice of orange.
Fig-and-pear-infused bourbon: In an airtight container, combine 1 liter bourbon; 2 sliced and seeded figs; 2 sliced and seeded pears; and the seeds and pod of 1 halved, scraped vanilla bean. Let infuse at least two weeks, but no more than three, before straining.
