Drunk Monk

Ingredients

1 egg
2 ounces Espolón reposado tequila
1/2 ounce green Chartreuse
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce agave nectar
Dried hoja santa (an herb that can be found in Latin markets)

Instructions

In a shaker, combine 1 egg white, Espolón reposado tequila, green Chartreuse, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar. Shake vigorously without ice, add ice, shake 5 seconds more and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a small pinch of dried hoja santa. (Published 2011)
