Ingredients

1/2 oz. Louis Royer Force 53 VSOP cognac
1/2 oz. Lillet blanc
1/2 oz. Bonal Gentiane-Quina
1/2 oz. yellow Chartreuse
1 dash simple syrup
6 drops Bittermens Hellfire Shrub
Ice
1 oz. soda

Instructions

In an old-fashioned glass, combine 1/2 oz. Louis Royer Force 53 VSOP cognac, 1/2 oz. Lillet blanc, 1/2 oz. Bonal Gentiane-Quina, 1/2 oz. yellow Chartreuse, 1 dash simple syrup, and 6 drops Bittermens Hellfire Shrub. Stir, then add 2–3 ice cubes. Top with 1 oz. soda and stir briefly. (Published 2011)
