Grapefruit-Campari Spritz

There’s only four ingredients in this refreshing and seasonal cocktail (three if you make the alternate version without vodka), which may be all you can handle after a night on the town. Campari, grapefruit, and vodka provide the base, throw in some of the leftover sparkling wine, and you’re good to go.


3 oz Campari-grapefruit mixture (see below)
sparkling wine
grapefruit wedge


In a wine glass add ice and Campari-grapefruit. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

To make Campari-grapefruit mixture:
1 bottle of vodka
1 bottle of campari
4 grapefruits, halved

Combine vodka, Campari and grapefruits in a container. Cover and refrigerate over night. The next day strain out the grapefruit and it is ready to serve. This can also be made without the vodka (Published 2012)
