Ingredients

Basil leaves
Thai chile
1/2 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces vodka
1 1/2 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
1/2 ounce lime juice

Instructions

In a shaker, muddle 3 medium basil leaves and a pinch of finely diced Thai chiles with simple syrup. Add vodka,  grapefruit juice, lime juice. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a basil leaf. (Published 2011)
