2 oz. Plymouth gin
2 oz. fresh-squeezed lime juice
1 teaspoon fresh chopped ginger
Splash of simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water; cook on low heat until sugar dissolves; cool for 30 minutes)


Serve shaken, straight up in a martini glass; garnish with a fresh lime wheel. (Published 2001)
