I had heard amazing things about this restaurant but left disapointed. Although the service and wine lists were both great the food was average at best. My friends and I ordered all three fish dishes to taste. We weren't impressed by any of them--especially the monkfish which was bordering on inedible.
spam which if sauteed is way better than the food served at this fishbowl. The many dirty people who have not showered in weeks talking about how cool this dump is makes you want to gag from their body stench alone not to mention the food. All you will hear are the complaints from the throngs of unshowered "cool people" complaining about the "upper east siders" or " investment bankers". An experience which immediately requires an hour long shower!
