Profile

Rebelling against the notion that tea must be confined to the afternoon, this Upper East Side wonderland serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. All that plus over a hundred teas, a takeout counter, a private party room, and enough tchotchkes to drive any Hatter mad.

Brunch

Sat.—Sun., 8 a.m.—3 p.m.

Note
Reservations accepted only for groups of 6 or more.

Cakes
This relative newcomer to the baking scene specializes in imaginative designs with lots of cute flowers and flourishes. Their resident wedding cake designer, Collette Foley (who also has her own cake company), prepares clean, bright creations that remain in high demand. From $8 a slice.

Recommended Dishes

The Mad Hatter (a pot of tea, two sandwiches, two scones, and a dessert), $30

Went here on a recommendation and not only was the service really awful, they had a really bad attitude. Brought sides of bacon out 20 minutes before meal, took at least 15 minutes to get COFFEE. Thought it was very overpriced, will not be going back down that rabbit hole.
