The owners of dell'anima, Joe Campanale, August Cardona, and Gabe and Katherine Thompson, have opened their latest endeavor, Anfora, just a couple doors down the street. The heart of the operation is A 50-seat wine bar and a wine list that features photos of the producers (one better than listing them by name!) along with symbols singling out wines that are biodynamic, organic, sustainable, or aged in anforae (Anfora takes its name from the terra cotta vessels that Greek and Roman winemakers used). In addition to ten white, ten red, three sparkling, and two rosé wines by the glass, there are cocktails, charcuterie, cheeses, antipasti, panini, lamb sliders, and an Italian hero with mortadella, soppressatta, speck, aged provolone, aïoli, mustard, and pepper relish.
