"Honey, I don’t feel like making dinner tonight. Let’s go for Italian." A warm, unpretentious Italian restaurant, Arte Café is the prototypical neighborhood standby. The specialties here are wholesome, uncomplicated dishes at reasonable prices and—as with many "family style" Italian restaurants—enormous portions. A serving of linguini with pesto could easily serve two people, and the equally generous tricolore salad, packed with crisp radicchio, arugula and endives, may as well have been tossed in your own kitchen. Diners shouldn’t overlook incredible lunchtime and early dinner prix-fixe deals.
